2. The Pats Will Not Select A Single Wide Receiver
I can’t tell you how much fans that constantly whine for receivers annoy me. The Patriots are loaded at wideout, and I truly hope they don’t take a receiver early in this draft. In fact, just about the only thing that will make me get extremely mad at Bill Belichick is if he takes a receiver in the first two rounds.

With that said, I think this year New England will not only decide to pass on a receiver in the first rounds, but they will pass on one for all seven. This year’s class is loaded, but the Patriots have other needs, and they don’t need to waste picks on a position where they are doing just fine.
Obviously late in the draft, in the seventh round its impossible to predict what they are going to do, but I would like to see the Pats take a flyer on a lineman, or a corner late, instead of a wideout.
