Week 17 at Dolphins

If the Patriots need to win this game, they will handily. They don’t like to get swept by a divisional opponent, and when the stakes are high (the number one seed), Tom Brady refuses to let his team fall.

Spending over $100 million on a defensive tackle looks nice for Miami, but in reality, it is a move to sell tickets, and destroy football teams. When you spend that kind of money on one player, it is impossible for you to build quality depth, which is a mistake that every team in the AFC East routinely makes. Bill Belichick on the other hand, knows all about roster depth, and all you have to do to see an example of that is take a look at Super Bowl 49.

Malcolm Butler is a product of Belichick making sure he has quality depth on his roster, and by doing that, it allows him to win games in December, when injuries and things like that, screw the Dolphins.

Score: Pats 30-13

(13-3)
