3. Secondary
A lot of you might wonder why this is third on the list. To me, there is nobody available that can replace Browner and Revis, and while I still think they should address the back end in the draft, it isn’t as important as the front seven. Sometimes you just have to accept that your secondary is going to be mediocre, and focus on upgrading the defensive front.
Now, keeping that in mind, the secondary still needs some attention. The Patriots recently signed Bradley Fletcher and Robert McClain to help offset the losses of Browner and Revis, but I still think they will take a cornerback or two in the upcoming NFL draft. It likely won’t be in the early rounds, as that isn’t how Belichick likes to operate, but expect New England to add reinforcements in the draft.
