Before we get started, here are two awesome draft databases to consult: walterfootball, and EDSfootball.
And now, my third mock draft of 2015. Enjoy!
48. No change here. The Bucs need a quarterback, and Winston is the top guy.. QB. Florida State. Jameis Winston. 1. player
Leonard Williams. 2. player. 35. Tennessee added some good talent up front via free agency, but they can’t pass on Williams.. DE. USC
player. 52. The Jags aren’t going to solve all of their defensive problems with one pick, but an edge rusher like Fowler is a good start.. OLB. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.. 3
WR. West Virginia. Kevin White. 4. player. 28. White is still the best wideout in the draft in my eyes, and the Raiders need to give Derek Carr some offensive help.
30. The Jets have spent a lot of money this offseason investing in their defense, but their offense still blows….poor Mariota.. QB. Oregon. Marcus Mariota. 6. player
7. player. 57. Chicago’s defense was horrible in 2014. Beasley will help the rebuild.. OLB. Clemson. Vic Beasley
Missouri. Shane Ray. 8. player. 44. The worst front seven in the league gets some help from the explosive edger rusher from Missouri.. DE
Iowa. Brandon Scherff. 9. player. 31. If you’re invested in Eli Manning and that passing offense, you need to get him some help on the offensive line.. OL
Michigan State. Trae Waynes. 10. player. 51. St. Louis’ front seven is terrifying, but their secondary is far from passable. Waynes is the best cover corner in the draft, and he will help immediately.. CB
60. The Vikings are shopping Cordarrelle Patterson, so they could use another wideout to help boost the offense.. WR. Alabama. Amari Cooper. 11. player
53. Cleveland really needs a quarterback, but since there is no one worth taking at pick 12, they’ll have to settle for the third best wideout in the draft.. WR. Louisville. DeVante Parker. 12. player
15. Oh, how things have changed for the Saints. Apparently they are willing to trade anyone, so I really wouldn’t surprised to hear Drew Brees rumors at this point. Dupree is a game-changer for their front seven.. DE. Kentucky. Alvin Dupree. 13. player
Stanford. Andrus Peat. 14. player. 59. Miami has screwed themselves with the cap, but that’s fine with me, because it means longer domination for the Pats in the AFC East. They take Peat hear to continue the rebuild of their offensive line.. OT
42. I had Shelton to the Niners in my last mock because I felt like their front seven was getting weak, and now it is just flat out awful. The big man will help.. DT. Washington. Danny Shelton. 15. player
One of Brady’s backups will be starting in Houston, and they better protect him. Collins is going to be a stud in the NFL.. LSU. OT. La'El Collins. 16. player. 10
