Revisiting 2014 New England Patriots Bold Predictions

Before the 2014 season began, I ran through four bold predictions for the New England Patriots, and today I would like to go back and revisit them now that the season is complete. You will notice that I did not include winning the Super Bowl in that original piece, but that’s because picking the Pats to win it all was far from bold.
It was a fun season, as it started in disaster, but ended in the ultimate triumph. Coming into the season, you could make a solid case Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were each the best ever at what they do, but now with a fourth Super Bowl under wraps, the case is complete. Rob Gronkowski finally returned to 100% beast, Julian Edelman did what a different small, white receiver couldn’t in New England, and of course, ‘Revis Island’ relocated to Foxboro.
I didn’t hit on all of my bold predictions (far from it), but let’s take a look back and see how I did:
