Patriots Super Bowl Parade

So the Patriots won the super bowl and had their parade yesterday. However, some people on social media didn’t take too kindly to some of the Patriots celebration antics.

At the beginning of the celebration, when players were first getting to see the crowds, LaGarrette Blount was seen holding a “Bitch Mode” t-shirt that was sporting Marshawn Lynch’s number 24. This is obviously directed at Lynch personally, but it could be for a multitude of reasons. It could be some sort of exchange Blount and Lynch have had in the past, it could have been about Lynch’s media antics or it could have been at the way Lynch was shoving camera’s out of his way after the Patriots won the super bowl. I think it’s because Lynch was shoving cameras and not speaking to anyone (surprise). It must have struck a chord with Blount and he wanted to let Lynch know how he felt. All in all, I agree that Blount’s actions were a little uncalled.

Julian Edelman also got into slamming Seahawks players. Edelman was seen waving poster that sported a Richard Sherman based meme. The sign said “how many rings does Brady have” and had an image of Sherman holding up 4 fingers when he was calling out Revis. I love anything and everything directed at Sherman. He deserves everything he gets. Sherman is an ass. Plain and simple. He’s loud, obnoxious and deserves to be knocked down a few pegs. I personally don’t even think he’s that good. Is he in my top 5? Maybe. But there’s definitely corners I’d put ahead of him, especially Revis. Seeing all the jokes and memes directed at Sherman are so good they should be fattening. I posted more than a handful to social media myself, especially of the one where he’s about to cry. Sherman is over-rated, so to be able to put a loud mouth hack in his place is better than anything else. In the words of DeAngelo Hall ‘Without that d-line helping you, your exactly what you are when you were drafted, a slow corner with good hands and a big mouth.’ I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Fans will soon get over the Patriots light -hearted jabs, mainly because the Seahawks bandwagon has finally broken down.
