START: Aaron Rodgers, QB – Green Bay Packers

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Rodgers is coming off a pathetic performance against the Bills, but this week he is getting the opportunity to go up against the 24th ranked pass defense in the league, and I expect Rodgers to shred the Bucs. Elite quarterbacks like Rodgers rarely have off days, but when they do, they come back in a big way. Tampa Bay is going to get obliterated by Green Bay’s offense.

SIT: Chris Ivory, RB – New York Jets

I know it is tempting to start Ivory against the Pats, this week, especially after the Jets ran wild over New England in their first meeting. But this is a different Patriots’ defense, one that is well-equipped to shut down power running attacks. And on top of that, I don’t think Bill Belichick liked giving up over 200 yards on the ground the last time these two teams met, so you better believe he is going to do everything in his power to make them go to the air.

SLEEPER: Roddy White, WR – Atlanta Falcons

Watch out for Roddy White this weekend against the Saints. This game is going to be a shootout, and if Julio Jones can’t go again, White will be the number one guy for Matt Ryan. And even if Jones is active, look for the Saints to throw the house at number 11, which should open up 1-on-1 opportunities for White. There is a chance we could see a throwback performance from the former superstar.
