Here are my week 11 NFL predictions:
Patriots 37 Colts 27
Here we go. Brady versus Luck. Two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL going head to head on primetime television. Unlike last week’s blowout, I think this game is going to be tight from start to finish. Both of these offenses will move the ball through the air, as Brady and Luck are just on fire right now.
The winner of this one will be determined by two factors: One, whoever can win the turnover battle, and two, who can get the most pressure on the other quarterback, while at the same time protecting their own leader.
I believe New England will win both of those mini-battles, and get another impressive victory. Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner will get physical with the Colts receiving corps, and Akeem Ayers and company will force a few errant Luck throws, giving the secondary some excellent opportunities to pad their stats.
Brady tosses four touchdowns, two of them to Gronk, who dominates this mediocre pass defense.
Vikings 24 Bears 16
The Bears suck. Next pick.
Browns 30 Texans 21
I can’t tell you how excited I am for this game. Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett, two hard working backups to Tom Brady, will face off in the ‘Brady Backup Bowl’. Now, this is a little unfair for Mallett, because Hoyer is leading a legit playoff contender, while Mallett is stuck with J.J. Watt and a bunch of morons. Cleveland continues their hot play, and hold off a late comeback to get the win.
Chiefs 27 Seahawks 23
This is going to be one hell of a game between two teams that are built eerily similar. They both run the ball well, they both play excellent defense, they both have game manager-type quarterbacks, and most importantly for this game, they each have a rabid fanbase that has the ability to really make an impact on the game. The Kansas City crowd will force Russell Wilson into a few turnovers which is the difference for the Chiefs.
Falcons 28 Panthers 17
It’s unbelievable how bad the NFC South is. Both of these teams have been absolute garbage this year, and yet they are still right in the thick of the playoff conversation. I’m taking Atlanta because I trust Matt Ryan over Cam Newton every single day of the week. In addition, Newton’s offensive line is in shambles, and he has no weapons whatsoever.
