START: Jordy Nelson, WR – Green Bay Packers

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers only needed two quarters to notch six touchdowns last week, and two of those were in the direction of Nelson. That makes eight end zone receptions on the season for the Green Bay stud receiver, who conveniently gets served the Eagles’ secondary next – one that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to wideouts this season. Even better is the fact that the game is at Lambeau, where the Packers almost never lose, and always aim to please the Cheesehead-faithful with copious amounts of offensive production.

SIT: Michael Floyd, WR – Arizona Cardinals

Floyd was highly touted as the number one option in the Cardinals’ passing game this past offseason, but has not lived up to anywhere near those expectations. Fellow teammates, Larry Fitzgerald (70 pts.) and John Brown (66 pts.), have each outscored Floyd by a healthy margin, with the latter having scored just 47 points in standard ESPN leagues. Each one of these receivers becomes a risky play with Carson Palmer sidelined for the remainder of the season, while also facing a staunch Detroit secondary that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this year.

SLEEPER: Kyle Rudolph, TE – Minnesota Vikings

Rudolph was supposed to prosper in Norv Turner’s offense this season, but an early-season injury derailed his momentum. He is currently on track to return this weekend against a Bears’ defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends, which makes this a golden opportunity for Rudolph to ascend back into the low-TE1/high-TE2 conversation.  If you find yourself coming down with a case of the bye week, you could do worse here than Rudolph.
