You’re all going to hate me for this, but I think the Patriots will fall to their division rivals in week 16. The Jets will be 3-11, as they are coming off a win at Tennessee, and they pull it together one last time at home to take down the mighty Patriots.
Rex Ryan will dig deep into that bag of tricks possibly for the last time against the Patriots, and he pulls out a game-plan that befuddles Tom Brady. It might be flooding the middle of the field with zones, it might be constant stunts on the defensive line, or it might just be old fashioned physical coverage on his wideouts. Whatever it is, chalk up one win for Ryan against Brady and Belichick.
Michael Vick will struggle through the air against this secondary, but he makes a few huge plays on the ground, since the Pats love to play man coverage.
Everything comes crashing down for the Patriots, and everybody hops back on the Broncos’ bandwagon…just the way Bill Belichick and Tom Brady like it.
