Fantasy Football: Week Ten Staff Must Start, Must Sit and Sleeper Picks

START: Peyton Manning, QB – Denver Broncos
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports
Manning is coming off his worst performance of the year, and he now has the opportunity to play the hapless Raiders. Look for Denver to come out firing early as they attempt to take out some anger from last week’s loss on Oakland. The Raiders have absolutely no answer in the secondary for Manning’s weapons, so expect a huge day from number 18.
SIT: Calvin Johnson, WR – Detroit Lions
I know it is tempting to start the best receiver in the league once again, but I really don’t think he is going to have a big day against Miami. First off, I doubt he is 100% healthy, and secondly, you better believe the Dolphins will look to shut down Johnson as their top priority. Detroit’s offense doesn’t have a ton of weapons behind Johnson, so by locking in on him, that would give the Dolphins their best shot at victory.
SLEEPER: Mark Ingram, RB – New Orleans Saints
The Niners have one of the best run defenses in the league, but I have a feeling a hot Ingram is going to score a few short touchdowns this weekend. I’m not saying he will go off for 150+ yards and four scores, but when it comes time to punch the ball in, look for the Saints to go to Ingram. Even if New Orleans scores only three touchdowns, I doubt they will be long bombs, which sets up perfectly for Ingram.
