Bengals 31 Jaguars 14

Cincinnati is coming off a tight win over the Ravens, and while I still don’t see the Bengals as one of the top contenders in the AFC, they shouldn’t have a problem with the Jaguars this week. Look for Andy Dalton to air it out to A.J. Green in his return to game-action.

Chargers 27 Dolphins 17

Despite losing last week in Denver, I still view the Chargers as the third best team in the AFC. Phillip Rivers is playing at a high level, their defense, while banged up, is solid, and they have a plethora of weapons for Rivers to play with. If San Diego can hold off that ferocious Dolphins’ pass rush, the Chargers will win.

Redskins 24 Vikings 13

COLT MCCOY. COLT MCCOY. COLT MCCOY.

It has been reported that the Redskins are going to start Robert Griffin III this week, which is unfortunate, because by doing that they would be keeping the greatest quarterback of all time on the bench. I think McCoy deserves to remain the starter for now after his awesome performance last week in Dallas, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. Either way the Skins win easily.

Niners 31 Rams 16

The last time these two squads met the Rams jumped out to a big lead early, only to see it evaporate as the second half wore on. This time around, look for Colin Kaepernick and company to lead from start to finish, as they hit on a few deep balls in the first half. Austin Davis has played well for St. Louis thus far, but their lack of defense catches up to them tomorrow.

Seahawks 28 Raiders 10

The Seahawks have struggled to start the year, but even a struggling Seahawks team will have no problems with the hapless Raiders. Seattle’s defense will pressure rookie Derek Carr into a few early turnovers, and run away with it in the second half. However with that said, this game won’t change how I view the 2014 Seahawks. I still believe they have a lot of problems they need to deal with.

Ravens 24 Steelers 20

I really want to give Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers this win, but I just don’t think they are going to back up last week’s performance with another solid outing. Pittsburgh has no defense whatsoever, and you can be sure the Ravens will take advantage of that. Terrell Suggs comes up with a big sack late to seal the win.

Colts 38 Giants 27

Andrew Luck has arguably been the best quarterback in the league through eight games, and a matchup with the porous Giants secondary won’t slow him down at all. Luck may also be getting Reggie Wayne back, so expect another awesome performance from Indianapolis’ offensive unit.
