START: Tony Romo, Quarterback – Dallas Cowboys

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

It is week eight of the NFL season and the Dallas Cowboys are riding high. With running back DeMarco Murray lighting up the NFL at running back in the absence Adrian Peterson, Tony Romo has been having a fantastic fantasy season with linebackers and safeties crowding the line of scrimmage. Against the Redskins on Monday night, Romo should be in position to continue his strong season. Sure, Aaron Rodgers is going against the Saints, but EVERYONE with Rodgers is starting him. Romo was likely a middle-to-late round pick (which is where I grabbed him in multiple leagues) and should pay off big time with weak secondary of the Washington Redskins facing him in a primetime Monday Night Football match-up. If you have Dez Bryant or any Cowboys receiver, I would be starting them.

SIT: Denard Robinson, Running Back – Jacksonville Jaguars

Everyone and their brother grabbed Denard Robinson off of waivers this week. That said, no one should be throwing him into the starting lineup unless you are desperate. The Jaguars beat a Cleveland team with no heart last Sunday, but Miami’s defensive line is monstrous. Jared Odrick, Earl Mitchell, Randy Starks: they are not household names but they stuff the run. No one runs the ball well against Miami unless it is a blowout: and Jacksonville is not blowing out the Dolphins.

SLEEPER: Mohamed Sanu, Wide Receiver – Cincinnati Bengals

Sanu, like the rest of the Bengals last week, disappeared against the Colts. However, Sanu was still targeted nine times and had 18 yards per reception. With A.J. Green coming back (supposedly), a number of “fantasy experts” are advocating putting Sanu on the bench. I could not disagree more. Sanu is still going to get his targets with or without Green on the field. Green played in three games and Sanu had five, eight, and nine targets in those games. If Green plays, Sanu will have to deal with the second-best cornerback, not the best. Without Green, he is the first option. Sanu should be starting no matter what at this point.
