There has been a ton of speculation surrounding the second-year wideout over this past week, regarding the reason why he has been inactive the last two weeks. We initially thought it was because he had an attitude with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, but Bill Belichick immediately shot that down.
So now the question remains, why won’t the Pats dress Dobson?
I think it is still related to his injury, because anybody with a brain can see that someone with his size and talent could help the Pats’ offense with his prowess on the outside. But if his foot is still bothering him, the Patriots are right to sit him, and let him heal back up to 100%.
But I am hoping he will be healthy enough to play tomorrow, because if New England gets the running game going like I think they will, there will be plenty of 1-on-1 opportunities for Dobson on the outside. They need someone to take advantage of that, whether it is Dobson, or someone like Brandon LaFell.
Somebody needs to step up.
