1. Danny Amendola
Amendola was my number one player to watch last week, and he will be number one on this list until he finds a way to get involved in the offense, and help it get back on track.
He hasn’t gotten open nearly as much as Julian Edelman has, but let me tell you, he has done a decent job at beating one-on-one coverage, finding holes in the zone, and even getting open on the goal-line last week. I don’t care what you say, he had his man beat, and Brady just misfired.
Amendola is a talented wideout. If he gets involved in New England’s passing game, they will be a much better team. I love Edelman, but relying solely on him is not going to get you into the Super Bowl this February. Tom Brady has to learn to trust Amendola a bit, start feeding him the ball, and wait for the offensive production to spike.
