The New England Patriots played their final preseason game of the year last night, losing to the New York Giants by a score of 16-13.

This finally allows us to move on from the dog-days of training camp and the preseason, and begin the regular season. Based on what we have seen this summer, I think this Patriots team will be very good, which makes the upcoming season even more exciting. There is not a lot of things to take away from a game where most of the starters didn’t play, but a few interesting storylines did arise last night, and with roster cuts looming, they definitely will be worth keeping an eye on in regards to who makes the final roster.

So here we go. The last takeaways piece of the preseason. Finally!
