The second presesason game of the year is nearly upon us, as our New England Patriots get set to host the Philadelphia Eagles tonight. The two teams have been practicing together all week, holding two fully padded sessions, before settling in for a nice walkthrough yesterday.

According to all reports, the Patriots played well once again, but the degree of difficultly this week was much higher than it was last week in Richmond, Virginia. They also had to deal with a pretty bad rainstorm on Wednesday, which prompted quarterback Tom Brady to say “it was kind of a New England-type day”. However now we can focus on tonight’s game, where we will hopefully be seeing a few more starters than last week.

There are a lot of players to keep an eye on in the preseason, so it is extremely hard to narrow it down to five. But I’m going to give it my best shot.
