AFC East

New England Patriots: 13-3

Miami Dolphins: 8-8

New York Jets: 7-9

Buffalo Bills: 6-10

Do I really have to explain this one?

The Patriots are far and away the best team in the east, and it’s laughable at how far back the other three teams are. New England has the best quarterback, best offensive line, best group of running backs, best overall receiving corps (that’s including Rob Gronkowski), best linebackers, and best secondary. The only thing they miss out on is the defensive line, because the Bills and Jets are actually pretty stacked there.

There is no scenarios aside from a major injury that I see Bill Belichick’s group not winning this division. They are just too good. We know Tom Brady’s offense will be up there with the best of them once again, but the real reason there is so much optimism in Foxboro lies on the other side of the ball. Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner now anchor one of the best pass defenses in football, which is why I see the Pats taking the number one seed in the AFC.
