Wow, it feels good to be writing a ‘five players to watch’ game preview piece again. Football is finally back.
The New England Patriots will face off with the Washington Redskins tomorrow night in their first preseason tilt of the year, in Richmond, Virginia. The two teams have been practicing with each other all week long, including today, as they hold a final mellowed-down session.
In the preseason, obviously no one cares about the final outcome, but rather how the starters perform in a game situation, and how the guys fighting for a roster spot play in essentially a blown up job interview. From that perspective, here are five players I will be keeping an eye on as tomorrow’s contest progresses.
