5. How does RG3 look?

I know this has nothing to do with the Patriots, but I can’t help but be intrigued as to how Griffin looks heading into his third year in the league. His rookie season was extremely promising, but a bad knee injury derailed his progress in year two.

Facing this Patriots’ secondary has a bit of good and bad attached to it, because it is good for him to face the best in preparation for the 2014 season, but at the same time, I am sure Washington doesn’t want Belichick’s defense to crush his confidence at this point. Griffin must take a few tips from Tom Brady and stay calm, look past the many mistakes he will make, learn from the experience, and make sure to put it to good use.

I am not a huge fan of Griffin, but I want to see the kid do well. He has a lot of talent, and he shouldn’t let that knee injury get in the way of a promising career. I doubt Washington will end up in the playoffs this year, but if they see progress from their signal caller, that is definitely a good sign moving forward.
