As far as I’m concerned, right guard Dan Connolly won’t be on this team come opening day. He is just getting way too much money for what he can bring to the table, and he will have two rookies right on his tail as soon as camp starts.

However the situation of center Ryan Wendell is not sealed at all. But that doesn’t mean his roster spot is safe. Bryan Stork is a fine young prospect, and the battle that will ensue between these two will be one for the ages (okay, I’m being a little dramatic). Wendell is undersized, but technically great. Stork is much bigger, and has a lot more potential.

So, the question is, who will come out on top?

I am leaning towards Stork right now, but not by much. I’m trying to not be really hard on Wendell, just based off of a sub-par 2013 season. If he can return to his 2012 form, he will starting in Miami on September seventh.
