1. Rob Gronkowski

Assuming Gronk is healthy, putting him at number one is a no-brainer. Obviously we don’t know if the big tight end will be able to stay healthy all year long, but I am hoping there will be no more freak injuries, and he will be out there, dominating throughout the entire season. Gronk’s unique combination of size and speed make him virtually uncoverable one on one, which always leads to a ton of receptions, and yards gained. But that is not what really gets you wins in fantasy football. You need touchdowns for a lot of points in this game, which is why Gronkowski will be such a great selection in 2014. When the Patriots creep down to the red zone, Brady will be going to number 87 pretty much every single time. Unless he is triple teamed (and even then he may score), there is no way you can stop Gronkowski close to the goal-line. He will either post up smaller defenders, or run past slower ones. And his huge hands allow Brady to simply throw it anywhere in his direction, and it will most likely result in a Patriots touchdown. I am expecting a big season from Gronk, not only from a fantasy perspective, but from the impact he will make for New England’s passing game.
