Round Four, Pick 140: Trai Turner (OG, LSU)

The Patriots still need to address their offensive line problems, and while I think that they’re relatively fine for this season, the future is definitely a different question. The pick here is LSU’s offensive guard Trai Turner. Turner right now is definitely a project, but has the intangibles and physical talents to be a very good offensive guard in the NFL. He’s a powerful, and aggressive run blocking guard, and built at 6’3, 310, is a road grader. He’s not going to be starting this year, but could benefit greatly from sitting a year, and getting a hang of the NFL game. Turner could be a huge asset for the Patriots in future years.

Other Options: OG Chris Watt, OT Michael Schofield, DE Ed Stinson
