The Patriots are set at defensive end. Rob Ninkovich, and Chandler Jones will be the starters in 2014. But what New England could use, is some new, explosive talent coming in behind them. They improved their secondary, which means their front seven will be in the spotlight this year, and if they don’t do anything, they will be criticized a lot. Dee Ford is the perfect guy for this situation. He can’t play every down on the edge, but as I just said, that isn’t what the Pats are looking for. I think Ford could come in on third downs, and just pin his ears back, and go get the quarterback. He brings a lot of explosion to the table, and if developed correctly, he could help turn the the Patriots pass rush into a legit threat in the NFL.
