Round Three, Pick 93

DE Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas

I am being a little biased here, as I am a huge Longhorns fan, but I genuinely like the game of Jackson Jeffcoat. He was inconsistent in college, but when he got it going, I saw glimpses of a future elite pass rusher in the NFL. Not only does he have the skill to get around the edge and attack the quarterback, he has the size to compete against the run. Now, the NFL is a different kind of game, so his 6’3, 247 pound frame may not be enough to hold up every down in the big leagues. But I think with the proper development, he could turn into a quality edge rusher for Bill Belichick.
