Round Three, Pick 78 (Via Cowboys): C.J. Fiedorowicz (TE, Iowa)

Here is the tight end pick the Patriots need. The good thing about the tight end position, is that there are about five fantastic prospect within the first three rounds, and the Patriots will have a shot at all of them, Eric Ebron excluded. Fiedorowicz is the fifth man on that list, but he is a very good player, that would immediately make the Patriots offense better, both from a pass catching perspective, and a blocking perspective as well. He’s not the most polished pass catcher, doesn’t have great separation skills, but he is a fundamentally sounds player all around, and would add a good dimension in the blocking game, and hopefully reduce Hoomanawanui’s playing time. So with that, three of the Patriots four biggest needs have been addressed, with one more pick left in the third round.

Other Options: C Marcus Martin, DT Will Sutton
