Round Three, Pick 93: Will Sutton (DT, Arizona State)

I know that earlier in this draft, I had the Patriots taking Stephon Tuitt, who is a player that can both play inside and outside on the defensive line, but if Will Sutton were to be available here, I’d really like value, and wouldn’t pass him up. He would become a part of an important interior pass rushing unit, that would become a rotation with him, Siliga, Kelly and Armstead. Sutton provides some great disruption inside when rushing the passer, and that’s something that the Patriots severely missed last year when Kelly went down, and getting a young player like Sutton would help them keep other players like Kelly and Wilfork more fresh for the later games in the season. Part of the reason that he would drop a bit in this draft is maturity concerns with some weight gain, and dedication, but going to the right place could really do wonders for him, and New England could be that place.
