So there is my third New England Patriots seven round Mock Draft, complete with a big trade in the first round. I know that it’s never a popular thing for a team to trade down, but the value is so hard to pass up. Last year, the Patriots got great value from the Vikings, and put those picks to good use including taking Jamie Collins with that second round pick. In this draft, the Patriots took advantage of some players who might drop a bit because of injury concerns (Thomas, Murray) or some character concerns (Jackson). We all know the Patriots aren’t afraid to take these kinds of players, if it means they can improve their team. What do you guys think of the Patriots moving down in the draft? And what did you think about this incarnation of my seven round mock draft? Let me know in the comments.
