So the second New England Patriots seven round NFL Mock Draft is now in the books, and only a few more left until the NFL Draft will be upon us. I still figure this will be a very defense heavy draft, needing at least another starting caliber player on the defensive line, and depth in the linebacker corps as well. Offensive line isn’t as big a need to me, but it was addressed nicely here in this draft, and I would not be disappointed at all if the Patriots in fact did go offensive line in the second or third rounds of the draft. Finally, tight end is a must upgrade position, and with the free agent pool pretty dry in terms of impact players, save for a few here and there, the draft is the best place to upgrade this. So what did you think of this version of my mock draft? Any players you’d like to see the Patriots draft at the positions that I touched on? Let me know in the comments. And make sure to come back next week for the third instalment, when I will be finally throwing in some trades to spice things up a bit.
