One of the greatest bands in history will be joining up with two great football players this summer, as the rock band ‘KISS’ welcomes Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski on their summer tour. Nothing is official, and coach Bill Belichick has yet to comment on the subject.
For Gronk, this is just par for the course. The big man loves to have fun in the offseason, but this is taking it to a whole different level. Gronkowski is expected to help out Gene Simmons during his ‘God Of Thunder’ act.
"I’m looking forward to it. Getting to just go up there and rock out, it’s going to be awesome. I can’t wait to try spitting some blood!"
As for Brady, this is completely unexpected. Usually Brady can’t be found during the offseason, as he works out, and tends to his family. But evidently he loves the band, and has always wanted to perform with them. Brady often rocks out at home after a hard day on the gridiron, and he even plays covers of the band around the city.
"After that first Super Bowl win, the first song that was put on in the locker room was ‘Crazy Nights’. Every since then, I’ve wanted to play with them."
Robert Kraft said that Brady not only wanted to help Paul Stanley sing, but he wanted to dress up in the makeup, and potentially keep the band going after he retires from football. The band was not available to comment on this huge announcement.
The offseason can be long and boring, but make sure you catch these two football players rocking out this summer. Dates have yet to be announced.
If by now you don’t realize this is a joke, then like me, you probably are just dying for some Patriots football. Happy April Fools day Pats fans!
