4. Phillip Rivers

Rivers didn’t have his best outing this past week against the Raiders, but he got San Diego the win, and kept them in the playoff hunt. Rivers has had an exceptional year, and one bad game shouldn’t drop him out of the top five. With Rivers, the talent has always been there, but up until this season, we didn’t really know if he could lead the team, and actually compete for a spot in the playoffs. The Chargers aren’t running away from the league with a 15-0 record, but they are above .500, and when you play in a division with the Broncos and the Chiefs, that is a solid accomplishment.
