4. Matthew Stafford
Stafford didn’t play nearly as well as I expected him to this past week in Pittsburgh, particularly in the all important second half. He completed a pathetic 41% of his passes, and although he threw for over 350 yards, it wasn’t nearly the kind of performance that an elite quarterback puts on when first place is on the line. With the Lions losing this game, they fell into a tie with Chicago for the top spot in the NFC North. Stafford will have to pick up his play over the final stretch of the season if Detroit wants to hold off the Bears to get into the playoffs.
