Andrew Luck
Luck’s play in the Colts 38-8 loss was just about as bad as it gets, but I couldn’t bring myself to knock him out of the top five, because of his stellar play up until this point. That high caliber play was also why it was extremely surprising to see Luck play possibly the worst game of his young NFL career. Luck managed to put up some yards in garbage time, but that doesn’t excuse him from an otherwise horrid performance. He threw three bad interceptions, and he couldn’t get his team into the end zone, save for one measly touchdown late in the third quarter. I hope that Luck can rebound from this game, because he has the potential to rise to the top of the NFL elite in the coming years. This will be a good test for his mental strength, as all of the great quarterbacks have had to put bad games behind them, on their way to the top of the league.
