This week I’m going to give you players to be careful starting
Beware: Knowshon Moreno- Knowshon Moreno against the Jags? A no brainer right? Wrong! All though it may seem like a good match up starting Moreno may bite you in the ass. The Broncos more likely than not will go up big very early, and this will most likely be through the passing game; when the broncos are up big it becomes sharing time in the backfield. Which means Moreno will be splitting Carries between Ball and Hillman very early in the game. Don’t bank on Moreno getting you big points.
Beware: Leveon Bell- The Rookie put up big points in his debut putting up 84 yards and 2 TDs. Bell owners are eager to get him back into the lineup after the Steelers bye week. However the Steelers are taking on a very underrated Jets defence, who are very good at stopping the run. Leveon should be a flex start at the most this week.
Christopher Durr:
Start: Ty Hilton. I think he will prove that he is the future of the Colts WR core, especially after breaking out against the Seahawks last week. Look for big numbers the rest of the year.
Sit: Vincent Jackson. Who is throwing him the ball? Exactly. So temper expectations.
Sleeper: Keenan Allen. Rivers has to throw the ball to someone, and this WR has been amazing with the next man up policy.
Erik Heuck:
Must Start: Both RBs playing in the Dallas-Washington game. We’ve seen what Demarco can do against a porous D, (St.Louis) and both these defenses are exactly that. Couple that with Morris coming off the bye and back at full speed, there should be a decent amount of points scored.
Must sit: Matt Stafford*. I put the asterisk based on whether or not Megatron plays. If CJ is out, Stafford has now weapons outside of Bush, and with Haden shutting down every wr he faces, the prospects don’t look good.
Sleeper: I want to say Ellington, but my gut tells me the Cardinals will have to abandon the run early, so I’ll go with The qbs in the Tampa-Eagles game. Glennon and Foles could have big coming out parties against soft defenses, who knows…
