5. Seattle Seahawks (4-1):

Last Week’s Rankings: 1

How the mighty have fallen. At first I thought they’d drop to number two, then the Saints got that slot. Then I thought it had to be three, but the Chiefs had been so impressive. Number four? Can’t put them ahead of the team that just beat them in the Colts, so here they lie at number five. The Seahawks fortunes have seriously turned after they took to the road against the Texans and Colts.  Sure they won against the Texans in dramatic fashion, but after the way they got dismantled by the 49ers, it looks even worse. Now they get outright beat by the Colts, I’ve lost a lot of faith in the Seahawks. The great secondary, which they nicknamed the “Legion of Boom” got torched, and they had troubles getting to Andrew Luck who beat them all day long. Wilson only managed 210 yards and had two picks. The running game was very good again as they totalled almost 220 yards, but it doesn’t mean much if they can’t consistently move the ball down field through the passing game. The Seahawks will have to bounce back in a big way, unfortunately they’re still on the road against a pretty good Tennessee Titans team.
