Speaking of teams that continue to shock the world, the Colts are up next! This team went out and not only beat what many considered to be the Super Bowl favorite in the 49ers, but they went out and thrashed them, controlled them, make them look incredibly weak. Andrew Luck and his boys have something very good going on, and will only continue to improve as they gel. Speaking of Luck, he threw for only 164 yards and didn’t have a touchdown, but he was still very impressive as his offense controlled a very good 49ers defense. The real revelation was how good the running game is, and how scary it’s going to be in the coming weeks. Trent Richardson made his Colts debut only three days after he was dealt from Cleveland, and while he didn’t blow up or anything, he still managed to grab a touchdown in his first touch as a Colt. The real surprise was Ahmad Bradshaw, who doesn’t seem to be willing to give up his starting job anytime soon. Bradshaw ran 19 times for 95 yards and a touchdown to wind things down in San Francisco. the defense was fantastic as well, holding Colin Kaepernick to only 150 yards passing, and just 20 yards rushing on seven attempts. They still have a lot of hole on both sides, but with the momentum they have right now, it’s going to very hard to slow this team down.
