MVP
Peyton Manning-Denver Broncos
When the Denver Broncos signed free agent Wes Welker to a two year deal this March, an already rich Peyton Manning got even richer. Before the Welker deal, he had a very talented receiving core. Now, it is borderline ridiculous. Not only does Manning have two proven outside threats in Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, but now he has the best slot receiver of all time with Welker now in the fold.
Manning will obliterate opposing defense’s next year, simply because he is just too talented of a quarterback to do anything less. If Manning is not the smartest quarterback of all time, he is damn near close. What he lacks in arm talent, he makes up for with his head, and it will serve him well in 2013. Say what you want about Peyton when it comes to playoff football (he chokes), but in the regular season there is not too many players that have done what he has been able to accomplish throughout his career. I think 2013 will bring one last raising of the MVP trophy for Manning, and possibly cap off one of the greatest careers we have ever seen.
