Brian Izzo (@IzzoShots732): “Reggie Bush will have a monster season.”
Reggie Bush will finally bring a running game to Detroit. Their lack of running is the sole reason Matt Stafford threw for nearly 5,000 yards last season. He can’t be relied on that heavily all season every year, so Bush will bring his arm some much needed rest. While Bush isn’t an every-down back, despite his insistence otherwise, he will make the most of his carries with Detroit and he will excel in running sweeps around the outside and hitting holes between the tackles. He can catch passes well too, and can be lined up at receiver to confuse defenses or be used effectively in screens. Looking at the Lions offensive weapons, they have none besides Megatron. The addition of Bush attempts to change the one-dimensional offense and make the Lions a credible threat in a competitive NFC North. To conclude, I agree with Brian and think as long as Bush can stay healthy, he will make a huge impact this season with the Lions.
