New England Patriots Staff Writers Wanted
In order to increase our cover of the New England Patriots, Musket Fire is looking to add more staff writers to the site. No experience is necessary, but having experience covering the team or the NFL for a personal blog or other outlet will certainly help. As long as you know your stuff, are passionate about it, and have at least average grammar, then you are a fit for the gig.

As you can see on the toolbar above, you will be seen on Sports Illustrated. I’ve had my work featured on SI’s Twitter account on on SI’s Fannation page, and the same can happen to you as well.
If you decide to join the site, then I will do everything in my power to help you get as many eyes reading your work as possible. I also afford writers of the site as much flexibility as possible, and you can choose how many times per week you want to write (at least one, more is always welcome). You can cover solely the Patriots with a featured article a week, or you can also help our coverage of other AFC East teams by sprinkling in a post here and there about the Dolphins, Bills, or Jets.
I know this will probably affect your decision in joining the site, but I cannot compensate writers at this time. But you will only be writing once per week, and I will try to find a way to compensate writers in the future based on post quality, post quantity, hits, staff seniority, and future revenue generated by the site
I like to give you guys free reign of content, but there will be occasional suggestions in case you get writer’s block or something. You can always email me at autzenzoo@gmail.com if you have any questions about joining the site. There is the potential to have plenty of people reading your work on the site, and it is a great way to help get your feet wet in the blogging world. I know a few of our readers are aspiring journalists, and this is a great outlet to have your voice heard. From what I can tell on Twitter, you guys are extremely knowledgeable fans.
Do you like talking about the Pats but aren’t comfortable with writing? Then email me about a position as a social media editor for Twitter, Facebook, or even both.
Thank you for your time and below is the link to the official application.
