Madden 11 Patriots ratings

The Madden 11 player ratings are in for the New England Patriots and despite the team rating being a decent 86, the individual player ratings are a bit average. There are only 6 players with ratings in the 90’s and much of the roster is in 70’s. The number of players in the 90’s may drop if Logan Mankins (95 rating) gets his wish and is traded. One problem I have always had with Madden is the fact that the team roster in the shipped game is usually much different than the one that shapes up throughout the summer. I know it’s hard to keep up with the constant changes in NFL rosters, and the problem is fixable somewhat if you download roster updates. However, would it be too much to ask to have the full slate of players that gamers can then cut down as players get released? One glaring omission that I noticed already is the exclusion of Gerard Warren on the roster. The Pats signed Warren the last day of the draft, so it’s not like he was a late addition. The game developers had to add in the drafted players, so my only guess is that they expect Warren to not make the final roster. I disagree but I digress. Follow the jump to see the breakdown of overall ratings from the 90’s to the 50’s.
