After a two-week break, to work on my draft guide, and to come up with my NFL Draft Big Board, I’m back with the New England Patriots Seven Round Mock Draft 5.0. Since my last mock draft, I’ve done a lot more studying of the prospects involved in this draft, and have a much better idea of who I would like to see the Patriots pick with their current eight picks. So with that being said, here is pick number one…

      You shouldn’t ever get your hopes up on a single player. Unless he drops into round three, it’s probably not happening.

    I don’t think we need another DT. With Wilfork,Kelly Siliga and Jones we are set for the next couple of years. A DE/OLB or center or guard is more of a priority in the later rounds. I like your first 2 picks. Shazier and Collins together will be awesome with Mayo and Hightower bringing in the pain!

      My mistake, fixed that. I was looking at the Patriots picks from a previous seven round mock, but accidentally put down a traded pick from that mock. Thanks for pointing it out.
