New England Patriots 2023 season betting preview: Super Bowl odds, win total prediction, prop bets and more
Here's where the New England Patriots stand in the futures market ahead of the 2023 season.

The days of the New England Patriots dynasty are officially over, having missed the playoffs in two of the past three years and having not won a playoff game since their Super Bowl run in 2018-2019.
Still, they have the greatest coach of all time, Bill Belichick, at the helm. Can he lead this time back to the promise land?
I broke down my best bet for the Patriots in my "32 bets for 32 teams" article, which you can read here.
In this article, I'm going to breakdown the full list of betting odds that are available for the Patriots upcoming season, including their projected win total and their odds to make the playoffs.
New England Patriots Super Bowl 58 odds
Even the most hopeful and optimistic of Patriots fans likely don't expect New England to compete for the Lombardi Trophy this season. At +6600, the Patriots are tied for 20th on the odds list to win the big one. That's an implied probability of 1.49%.
If you do have faith this time can go on a Cinderella run, a $100 bet on them would win you a profit of $6,600 if they get the job done.
New England Patriots win total prediction for the 2023 season
The Patriots win total is set at 7.5 for the upcoming season. If you have faith the Patriots are going to exceed expectations this season, than the OVER on their win total is probably where you're going to want to place your money.
Although, I'll be honest, I'm not very confident in this team. Sure, you can bank on Mac Jones taking a step forward and their defense returning to being the dominant unit they were for the better part of two decades, but they have a couple of major things going against them.
The main roadblock for them is they have the most difficult schedule in the NFL according to SharpFootballAnalysis.com. That's bad news for a team that's already playing in the most difficult division in the league.
Sorry Patriots fans, but I'm taking the UNDER 7.5 wins.
New England Patriots odds to win AFC East
The odds are stacked against the Patriots to win the AFC East. The one time kings of the division are a distant fourth in terms of odds to win. They need to not only overcome the defending champion Bills, but they need to get past two other Super Bowl contenders in the Jets and Dolphins.
Patriots winning the division isn't a bet I'd place this season.

New England Patriots odds to make the playoffs
If you think the Patriots will return to the playoffs this season, you can bet on at happening at +250 odds. A $100 bet would win you a profit of $250. On the bright side, there's three wild card spots for each conference now, so it's slightly easier to make the playoffs than it used to be.
Still, the AFC might be the strongest conference we've seen in the past two decades. They have an uphill battle against them.
Best New England Patriots season-long prop bet
Matt Judon regular season sacks leader (+3000)
Okay, I've been a negative Nancy enough in this article. Let me be positive for a change. I think Matt Judon leading the NFL in sacks is a fantastic bet at 30/1.
Judon finished tied for fourth in sacks in the NFL last season with 15.5. Only Myles Garrett, Haason Reddick, and Nick Bosa had more sacks than Judon, but yet he's at +3000 to lead the NFL in that stat this year? That seems like a long price for one of the best pass rushers in the league.
Judon has also improved in each of the past few seasons, telling me he's trending in the right direction. If he takes another step forward this year, he could certainly lead all players in sacks.
