Patriots vs. Broncos prop bets
- Demario Douglas OVER 4.5 receptions
- Ezekiel Elliott OVER 63.5 rushing yards
- Javonte Williams UNDER 54.5 rushing yards
Demario Douglas OVER 4.5 receptions
Demario Douglas made his return from injury last week against the Chiefs and immediately became the team's number one option at wideout, hauling in three-of-five targets for 33 yards. Now, he's going from playing against one of the best secondaries in the NFL to one of the worst. The Broncos are 29th in opponent yards per pass attempt while allowing teams to record an average of 22.4 completions against them this season.
If the Patriots go to the air with any regularity whatsoever, Douglas is going to be on the receiving end of those throws so I'll bet on him to record at least five receptions.
Ezekiel Elliott OVER 63.5 rushing yards
No team gives up more yards per carry than the Denver Broncos, who give up 5.2 yards per rush. That's 0.5 more yards than the next worse defense. Ezekiel Elliott should be thrive in this game against this run defense and with the Broncos giving up an average of 146.9 rushing yards per game, there's no reason Zeke shouldn't be able to surpass 63.5 rushing yards tonight.
Javonte Williams UNDER 54.5 rushing yards
While the Broncos have arguably one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, the Patriots have the best. They lead the NFL in opponent rush EPA, opponent rush success rate, and opponent yards per carry, giving up a measly 3.1 yards per carry which is 0.3 yards better than the next best defense.
Those numbers are enough to make me want to fade the Broncos' starting running back, so that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'll take the UNDER on Javonte Williams' rushing yards total of 54.5.
