Best NFL Prop Bets for Patriots vs. Jets in Week 3 (Belichick owns Zach Wilson)

The Patriots are lucky to not have to face a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback and even luckier that they've dominated his replacement in four previous games.

The New York Jets came into this season thinking they finally had their own future hall-of-famer to go head-to-head with Bill Belichick, but instead it’s back to Zach Wilson. I think I can remember a few times when Belichick made a Jets draft bust look bad, so this week will probably be no different.

It's time to fade Zach Wilson in the prop market.

We’ll get into the prop bet picks for the Patriots and the Jets, but no matter what you’re betting on in NFL Week 3, make sure to bet with this great promo from the Caesars Sportsbook.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Patriots vs. Jets

  • Zach Wilson UNDER 30.5 Pass Attempts
  • Zach Wilson OVER 0.5 Interceptions
  • Kendrick Bourne OVER 33.5 Receiving Yards

Zach Wilson UNDER 30.5 Pass Attempts

The Jets keep saying that Zach Wilson is their guy, but their actions speak a lot louder than their words. In Week 1 when it was a close game against the Bills, they didn’t give Wilson any chances to throw at the end of the game. He ended that one with 21 pass attempts and only had 27 pass attempts against the Cowboys while trailing for nearly the entire game.

The Jets have a better chance of keeping this game close than last week, when they were trailing the entire game and he still didn't eclipse 30 attempts. Wilson will be happy just handing it off instead of throwing into the teeth of a Belichick coached secondary.

Zach Wilson OVER 0.5 Interceptions

Wilson already has four picks this year and he’s thrown 22 in 24 games over his career. Against the Patriots, Wilson has seven interceptions in four games. I'm not afriad to lay this one.

Kendrick Bourne OVER 33.5 Receiving Yards

He only has 10 catches for 93 yards this season, but Bourne is the No. 1 receiver in this offense. Bourne has seen 20 targets through two games which is seven more than Hunter Henry and Juju Smith-Schuster who are tied for second on the team in targets. The production will be there soon for Bourne who is a very good receiver and with a big target volume he’ll have success.
