1st Down: Add a No.1-caliber wide receiver

The New England Patriots did not add a No. 1 wide receiver yet in the offseason, and it doesn’t seem likely that they will. It is still possible that they can make a few calls to some teams looking to move their star wide receivers — and the Patriots have some assets they can use as bargaining chips to acquire a talented receiver.

The only name they added since my last article was Marqise Lee, but knowing the Patriots, he will probably be cut during training camp.

But if they decide to keep Lee, then he will join Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, N’Keal Harry, and Jakobi Meyers in Jarrett Stidham’s arsenal of weapons.
