As the Patriots prepare to do battle with the Chiefs this Saturday in a divisional playoff tilt, New England is still dealing with some injury issues to key players. Nothing too major it seems, but newsworthy nonetheless. Tight end Rob Gronkowski was absent from practice for the second time in three days because he reportedly was at the hospital getting treatment on his knee.

Obviously this isn’t ideal, but Gronk is expected to play this weekend. Hopefully this treatment is just getting the big man ready to go for Saturday after tweaking his knee a bit earlier this week.
#Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski missed practice today because of a knee injury, but my understanding is he should be good for this weekend.

In other news, Chandler Jones spoke with the media today and profusely apologized for the incident he was involved in over the weekend. Jones has been practicing all week long, and he says he is ready for the ‘game of his life’ against the Chiefs.
