Hal BentHal Bent

A life-long fan of all Boston sports and my roots cemented in Southeastern Mass., the Patriots have been favorites through the lows of the early eighties; the short, brief flicker of hope of 1985/6; the horrid fall-out and rock-bottom of the late 80s & early 90s before the coming of Drew & the Tuna to turn things around for the franchise and led to the Belichick Era of Prosperity (see how I completely blocked out Pete Carroll and Bobby Grier, there). Inspired by the great sports-bloggers in the early 2000s, I started my own blog on all things Boston sports which I have kept to this day. I'm a huge fan of MusketFire and hope my unique voice, insights, and sense of humor can add to the great experience here. Sorry, ladies, I know online sportswriters get all the chicks these days, but I am happily married with two kids. :)
