With training camp underway and position battles starting to heat up, which Patriots will find themselves in the starting line-up for offense?

Garoppolo and Brady

This one is pretty simple, Jimmy G has to start the first 4 games and when Brady comes back, he’s the starting QB. Any questions?

Edelman, Amendola and Hogan

Even though Julian and Danny are currently on the PUP list, I think they’ll be ready to go by the start of the season. They are the most tenured receivers on the team and they understand the offense the best. However, I think by the end of the season Hogan will jump Amendola for the the 2nd receiver spot.

Gronk and Bennett

The Patriots have 2 of the top tight ends in the league, they’ll see the field together pretty often. Not a lot of detail needs to go into this. Gronk will gather most of the attention and Bennett will reap the benefits. I don’t understand why Bennett switched his number from 83 to 88 though, I liked him in the 83.

Dion Lewis

Provided Lewis comes back strong after his injury last season, he’ll be the team’s starting running back. If he can’t Blount will be the starting running back, and if he can’t…I don’t know, James white or something (although I want o see what DJ Foster can do).

Solder, Vollmer, Mason, Jackson and Stork

Even though Cooper got hurt in training camp (no surprise), he wasn’t going to crack the Patriots’ starting line up. Even if he didn’t get hurt, I think the starting line up will include Mason and Jackson at Guard and Stork as center. If that fails, I see Stork going to guard and Andrews going to center. Regardless, Cooper was never going to start.

Most of these players are pretty obvious. If everyone stays healthy, the only people that could see depth chart moving are people that we’ve questioned before. The usual suspects of Amendola and that line. Other than that, this starting line-up is pretty set.
