NFL Week 14 Picks: Patriots Get Back On Track

Here are my week 14 NFL picks:

Patriots 27 Texans 21

The Patriots are still dealing with a plethora of injuries, but after two bad back-to-back losses, I think Tom Brady finds a way to get his team back on track. It won’t be easy, but the Pats gut out a much needed win on Sunday night.

Eagles 30 Bills 27

Beating the Patriots can do wonderful things for a struggling team, and the Eagles will ride the momentum of beating New England last week to take down Buffalo at home today. The NFC East is there for the taking, and this win help the Eagles get closer to that crown.

Niners 23 Browns 17

Blaine Gabbert is actually playing pretty well for the Niners right now, and he will lead them to a win today over Cleveland.

Rams 31 Lions 20

The Lions are cursed. That is the only explanation behind last week’s loss to the Packers, and it will carry over to their showdown with the Rams this week. Matthew Stafford will be under siege all game long from that St. Louis front.

Bucs 26 Saints 24

Tampa Bay most likely needs to win out if they want to squeak into the postseason, and while I don’t think they can do that, I am confident they will beat Drew Brees and company at home today.

Jets 20 Titans 19

Don’t look now but the Jets have put themselves in a decent position to make the playoffs this year. Todd Bowles‘ defense will be too much for Marcus Mariota to overcome today.

Steelers 30 Bengals 27

Patriots fans will be huge Steelers supporters today, because if they can beat Cincinnati, that makes life a lot easier for New England as they try to get home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. I think Pittsburgh gets it done behind a monster day from Big Ben and his three headed monster at receiver.

Colts 25 Jaguars 21

Does anyone even care about the AFC South anymore? Whoever wins will most likely get bounced from the playoffs in the first round, and if not then, definitely by divisional weekend.

Chiefs 23 Chargers 9

The Chiefs are without a doubt the hottest team in the AFC right now, and they will continue their winning streak with an easy home win over San Diego.

Bears 27 Redskins 23

Washington needs a win to keep pace in the NFC Least, but I am backing Jay Cutler and company to get a nice bounce-back victory today.

Panthers 22 Falcons 13

The undefeated whispers are only going to get louder after this game. Carolina is playing very well right now, and 16-0 is not out of the question. I personally don’t think they are going to get there, but you never know.

Seahawks 27 Ravens 10

Does anyone in the NFC want to face Seattle in the playoffs right now? Didn’t think so. This team is rounding into form, and they will be a tough out come January.

Raiders 17 Broncos 14

Alright, Derek Carr. Show me something. I think Oakland is still a year or two away from being a legit championship contender, but they are a quality team right now, and they are going to steal one in Denver today.

Packers 24 Cowboys 13

If Tony Romo were available for Dallas, this would be the game of the week. But Matt Cassell is at quarterback instead, and there is no way in hell he is beating Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field.

Giants 23 Dolphins 20

We could see nine combined turnovers in this game.
