The New York Jets Are The Worst Franchise In Sports; Prove It Again By Filing Tampering Charges Against Patriots

Just when you think the dumpster fire that is the New York Jets can’t sink any lower, they go and pull a stunt like this. Filing tampering charges at the Patriots for Robert Kraft’s comments on Darrelle Revis? Are you kidding me? Arguably the dumbest thing I have ever seen in professional football.

It’s incredibly obvious what the Jets are doing. They are scared they are going to look pathetic and worthless again at the hands of the Pats both come football time, and in this tampering situation, so they lashed out and tried to save face by slapping the same charge on New England.

Give. It. A. Rest.

What Woody Johnson said back in December was clearly tampering. It literally was the definition of tampering. What Robert Kraft did was not even close to tampering. It was a harmless comment talking about a player in the PAST, and in no way shape or form was he implying he wanted to bring him back in the future.

Johnson is just a butt-hurt nuisance that can’t stand consistently losing to the Patriots. He is the owner of the worst franchise in the NFL, and he messed up once again with his comments back in December. So to try and “get even”, he fired the same accusations back at the Pats, hoping the NFL will penalize both squads.

Now, this may actually happen, because if there is anything more incompetent than the Jets, it is Roger Goodell and the NFL. But if you actually have a brain, you know the Jets are just a whiny team that is the definition of mediocrity, and they sunk to the lowest possible level to try and get back at New England.

Johnson’s comments:

"“It was our best judgment to do what we did. But Darrelle’s a great player. I’d love Darrelle to come back.”"

Kraft’s comments:

"“We thought we made a very competitive offer. I speak as a fan of the New England Patriots, we wanted to keep him. We wanted him in our system, and we have certain disciplines. We had hoped it worked out. It didn’t. We just don’t think about short-term decisions. For example, next year we have three very good young defensive players coming up and we have to factor that.”"

Could you please tell me specifically where Kraft implied he wanted Revis back next season?

Exactly.

The Jets are the most pathetic franchise to ever grace this planet. Yup, more than the friggin Yankees. I’ll go there. They are abysmal every single year, and they will not be taking the AFC East crown from the Patriots anytime soon.

Please, NFL. Bring the Jets to Foxboro to open the 2015 season. It will be an all-time beatdown.
